The Learning Zone Network is a unique online learning resource for the child and youth care sector - including foster carers. It provides flexible, innovative teaching and learning opportunities to suit a wide range of knowledge and skills backgrounds, which are free at the point of access.
LZN is joint venture of Kibble Education and Care Centre, the International Child and Youth Care Network and Foster Care Associates.
The courses on LZN are made up of modules that you can complete at your own pace. These modules are interactive learning modules which employ a variety of technologies including video, audio podcasts, images, readings, blogs and forums.
If you work in organisation with a group of colleagues you can contact us and we can set your group as a “class” with an online tutor from your place of work, perhaps a team manager or training manager. If you are working as an individual, just set up your log-in straight away – it’s really easy and quick!
To find out more read our FAQs or try out the test courses to get a flavour of what’s on offer.
